The nostalgia and vibe of a small town parade is hard to beat. From the sirens of the First Responder vehicles to the drums from the marching bands all the way to the clippety clop of the horses feet as they ride by it's overflowing with pride, community, and small town goodness.

Join us September 27th, 2025 in downtown Hallettsville for the Kolache Fest parade. The parade begins at the City Park on N. LaGrange street and makes its way around the courthouse square in downtown Hallettsville.
​
Local businesses, individuals, groups, schools, and people from all over line up to show their Hallettsville pride as people line the streets to greet them. It's a beautiful way to officially start the Kolache Fest! Come join us and take part in an old small town parade fit for the big city!

Check-in will be at the Lillie Appelt Johnson Youth Center in the Hallettsville City Park – 109 E. Park St.

PARADE INFORMATION & RULES

Dressing/Restrooms are located inside the youth center building.

No items such as candy, gum,koozies,water bottle or pencils, etc.will be
allowed to be thrown from parade entries. Your organization may have someone walking beside your entry handing out these items. If you are handing out items, please do not stall the parade. No children under 12 years or younger may walk the parade route.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONSUMPTION BY DRIVERS OR ANY PARTICIPANTS BEFORE OR DURING THE PARADE IS EXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN. IF A PARTICIPANT IS SEEN CONSUMING ALCOHOL PRIOR TO OR DURING THE PARADE, IT WILL RESULT IN THEIR IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THE PARADE FORMATION.
