PARADE CHECK-IN & INFORMATION

Location: Lillie Appelt Johnson Youth Center

Address: Hallettsville City Park – 109 E. Park St.


SCHEDULE:

7:30 a.m. – Check-In

8:45 a.m. – Judging Begins (Entries not in place by this time

will not be judged)

10:00 a.m. – Parade Begins

PARADE INFORMATION & RULES

  1. Restrooms

    Restrooms are available in the park.

  2. Item Distribution

    Throwing items (e.g., candy, gum, koozies, water bottles, pencils) from parade entries is not allowed. You may have individuals walking alongside your entry to hand out items. Do not allow distribution to delay or stall the parade.

    Note: Children 12 years and younger are not permitted to walk the parade route.

  3. Alcohol Policy

    Consumption of alcoholic beverages by drivers or participants before or during the parade is strictly prohibited.

    Anyone observed consuming alcohol will be immediately removed from the parade lineup.

  4. Awards Presentation

    Parade winners will receive their awards prior to the parade start.

  5. Driver Requirements

    Any entry that requires a driver must be operated by a licensed driver.

  6. Disbanding Instructions

    When disbanding at the end of the route, please ensure you do not block the flow of traffic for entries behind you.
