The Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet

The Membership & Awards Banquet celebrates community and all that we have accomplished with our members.  Social hour provides networking and beverages followed by a delicious meal with all the trimmings.

Guests are entertained by light music and games along with a recap of the year's highlights and the presentation of our Hospitality & Citizen of the year award!

2025 Citizen of the Year Award

Qualifications for Citizen of the Year: The Citizen of the Year Award recognizes an essential element in our community — THE VOLUNTEER. To qualify, nominees must:

• Have performed volunteer services within the Hallettsville trade area

• Have served without monetary compensation

• Have been active in volunteer service during the past 12 months

• Have contributed to the community over a span of years Candidates are nominated by the public and judged by blind vote by out-of-town judges, based solely on the written statements provided on the nomination forms.

2025 Hospitality Award

 Qualifications for the Hospitality Award:

  • Texas hospitality begins at home. Exceptional customer service not only benefits a business but also enhances the well-being of our entire community. The Hospitality Award honors an employee or business owner who has developed a customer-friendly attitude and consistently treats customers as the most important part of their job.


  • Candidates are nominated by the public and judged by blind vote by out-of-town judges based solely on the written statements submitted on the nomination forms.
